flybuys: The Bye-Buys Countdown October 2019, CHE Proximity
BRIEF: Encourage flybuys members to book limited-time offers with flybuys travel.
APPROACH: The project’s USPs included loss-leading price points, eye-watering BONUS POINT offers and the fact members only had one week to grab a deal before it expired. Ergo, The Bye-Buys Countdown.
Media spend focused heavily on social and digital channels, so I worked in with a Senior Designer and junior creative team to refine a visual device that would drive urgency.
We settled on a device cycling through a series of shots, all chosen to elevate the brand beyond its perception as a budget travel supplier.
With concept approved in the first round, I went on to oversee the roll out of more than 100 assets across social, digital, owned and partner channels during the 12-week campaign duration.
